Tamco Australia Delivers

In August 2011 a turnkey portable switchroom was delivered by Tamco Australia to the Kanmantoo Copper Project mine site in Queensland. The switchroom was prefabricated offsite complete with MV switchgear, DC supplies, fire suppression equipment, PLC and communications equipment.


Tamco Australia delivered four IP54 rated 22kV switchgear enclosures in August 2011 for Melbourne Metro Trains' Champion Road 22kV Rail Link project. The enclosures feature the new Tamco 22kV VH2 switchgear comprising cassette-type VCB, and their overall footprint is smaller than that of the older style VH2.







Tamco Australia delivered this portable switchroom, complete with MV and LV switchgear, PLC and communications equipment, fire suppression and DC power supplies, to the Callide Oxy Fuel Project in Queensland, where it was commissioned in June 2011.


12kV Ring Main Units comprising two ring switches and three circuit breakers were delivered by Tamco Australia to the Christmas Creek Mine site in WA in May 2011.

These Ring Main Units now feature the remote operation of circuit breakers and undervoltage tripping.


Tamco Australia's K80 3200A Main Switchboards were delivered to the Australia Red Cross Blood Services in Melbourne in February 2011.


Tamco Australia 's K5000 MCC's, complete with arc fault containment ductwork, were delivered in February 2011 to Verve Energy's Kwinana Power Station in WA.
